Day 1: Departure & The Dolphin Encounter

Hotel Pickup
We pick you up from your hotel in Marsa Alam in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and drive south to the Hamata Port (approx. 2 hours depending on hotel location).
09:30 AM
Boarding & Sailing
Arrive at Hamata Port, board our spacious boat, meet the crew, and set sail towards Sataya Reef. The journey takes about 2.5 hours, offering stunning views of the deep blue Red Sea.
12:00 PM
Arrival at Sataya & First Swim
Arrive at the Dolphin House! We gear up for our first snorkeling session. The guide will look for the resident spinner dolphins. If they are in a playful mood, you can swim alongside them—a truly magical experience.

Lunch on Board
Enjoy a freshly prepared buffet lunch served on the boat. Relax, recharge, and enjoy the turquoise views of the lagoon.

Afternoon Snorkeling
Explore the vibrant coral gardens of Sataya. The reef here is pristine, with massive brain corals and colorful reef fish. As other boats leave, the reef becomes quiet and exclusive for us.

Watch a spectacular sunset over the Red Sea. Later, our chef prepares a delicious BBQ dinner. Enjoy music, chat with fellow travelers, and relax under the moonlight.

Sleeping Under the Stars
Choose to sleep in your cabin or take a mattress onto the upper deck to sleep under a blanket of stars. The silence of the sea and the clear night sky make for an unforgettable night.
Day 2: Morning Magic & Return

Sunrise Swim
Wake up with the sun! This is the best time to see dolphins as they are often very active in the early morning. Enjoy a peaceful pre-breakfast swim in the lagoon.

Final Snorkeling Session
One last exploration of a different part of the reef. Look out for rays, turtles, and Napoleon wrasse before we prepare to depart.

Enjoy a final lunch on board as we lift anchor and begin our journey back to Hamata Port.

The Jewel of the South Red Sea
Sataya Reef is a large, horseshoe-shaped coral reef located at the south-eastern tip of the Egyptian Red Sea diving zone, off the coast of Hamata. It is often referred to as "Dolphin House" because large pods of Spinner Dolphins use its sheltered lagoon as a resting area during the day.
Geography: The reef creates a protected lagoon with shallow, calm waters, making it perfect for snorkelers of all levels. The outer walls drop into the deep blue, attracting larger marine life.
Why Overnight? Sataya is quite far from the coast (approx. 2 hours sailing). Day trips often feel rushed. Staying overnight maximizes your time with the dolphins and allows you to experience the reef when it is calm and devoid of other tourists.
